Curtiss Hawk 75 A-6 at the Kjeller Flyfabrikk

The following photograph was sold on ebay.de a few months ago. Showing the partly assembled Curtiss Hawk 75 A-6's with Norwegian callsign 447 in the foreground and 433 in the background this copy was printed in Germany after the negatives must have been 'confiscated' by the occupying forces.

These Hawk's did later see action in the Suomen Ilmavoimat during the so-called Continuation War against the Soviet Union 1941 through 1944.

It would be of interest to know exactly how many negatives were used this way, and how many photographs that have survived throughout the war. Anyone with photographs showing aircraft at what they think is the Kjeller Flyfabrikk would be very welcome to contact me, either with a comment on the blog or by e-mail. I will then write an updated piece on the topic later on.
